It is a three-way custom active loudspeaker with a 10” woofer, 7” mid-range, and 1” soft dome tweeter. The E-33A is designed for stereo and multi-channel monitoring in demanding environments such as recording, critical listening rooms, post-production (recording, mixing, and mastering), and residential music listening rooms.
Each loudspeaker is fine-tuned individually to ensure performance consistency is achieved. Hand-crafted in the USA.

Advance Bracing Technique
A woofer's movements induce structural vibrations at low frequencies. Wall vibrations are known to color sound reproduction. The E-33A cabinet construction is well braced, massive and solid, allowing pure sound reproduction with very minimum coloration from the wall vibrations.
Complex Internal Resonance Damping
As a sound radiator, woofers radiate sound toward the front and back of the cone surface. At low frequencies, resonances happen inside the back volume that can affect the front radiation frequency response. The E-33A cabinet features a complex internal resonance control to smooth out the frequency response.
Precise Alignment
Active digital signal processing of each transducer is carefully developed to minimize latency and to improve the sound image. This is done by a very careful signal alignment to minimize the phase shift for each transducer.
Out of Band Frequency Control
Harshness often occurs from an out of band frequency response of a transducer, even in the presence of steep crossover slopes. Each E-33A's transducer's response is carefully observed and digital signal processing is developed to minimize out of band frequency response without introducing any detrimental phase shift.
