Our concert hall was designed by Hadi Sumoro back in 2007. It had just the right reverberation time, allowing warm sound in the hall. Hadi also did a wonderful job in keeping a good quality of intelligibility of speech and singing. Every few years, Hadi also helped tune the sound system. The stereo image is very well defined, the bottom is rock solid without smearing, highs are clear, mids are pronounced, you could hear the fine details that previously only available by using headphones! I could say that clarity is the best word to describe the overall sound in the listening sweet spot. The other side of the room has less reverb yet not dead. Excellent for tracking vocals and acoustic guitar. The sound is so focused, no more smearing, no more roominess, yet it still sounds alive and not dead like when you used too much absorbent material. Increasing the distance between sound source and microphones does not introduce room reverb, instead the sound just move farther away but still very focused. Overall, I am so impressed with this room. It is more than what I expected earlier. Great work Mr. Hadi!
